Apr. 2, 2016: Issues ironed out and resuming with blogging 

Sick Computer 1With apologies to Gen. MacArthur for stealing his notable claim, I feel it appropriate to inform you all that the recent silence of this blog is due to computer problems and not anything resulting from the CCGOP hierarchy expressed in the past.

For some time now I have struggled with an aging computer that finally decided to stop and force me to take it in for repair. Whether it is repairable or must be replaced remains to be seen.

It is in the hands of some very competent people as I write this on my aging and slow as molasses in sub zero weather netbook.

Clark County, We Have a Problem

Yes, we all have witnessed the dysfunction ongoing with the five member County Council and finger pointing is going in all directions. But it seems the problem extends beyond just the friction between the five councilors.

It’s bad enough that the councilors can’t seem to agree on much, but week after week we see the same citizens coming forward repeating their vitriol towards one group or another.

Benton Praised by Progressive Democrat

Who knew that a Progressive Democrat like Sen Maralyn Chase (D 32) would get emotional bidding Sen Don Benton (R 17) farewell as the State Senate paid him tribute upon his coming retirement after being elected to the Senate 5 times now?

The Lazy C mentioned the comments in their article State Senate pays tribute to longtime legislator Benton, but the raw emotion of her words are not able to be discerned in it.

Yes, We Can Coexist With an Oil Terminal

Oil Can Dollar Sign 1Bomb Trains, Toxic Air, Pollution, Destroying the Environment, Derailment, Fire, Earthquake, we have all been subjected to a steady campaign of fearmongering, followed by boastful claims of how environmental activists have managed to stop job growth for the middle class by successfully convincing cities to not allow terminals that have to do with oil, gas, methanol or pretty much any sort of fuel.

They love to boast of cities in other countries that are “green” and thriving economically.

Our own local envirowacko, Don Charles Steinke can be seen spamming comments under every article pertaining to our own proposed oil terminal at the Port of Vancouver by the Lazy C.
