Lazy C Sets New All-Time Record, Stirs Up Lynch Mob, But Fails to Oust Benton

by lewwaters

Lynch Mob 2The Lazy C, the unofficial daily newsletter for the Democrat Party, the Mouthpiece is well known for their deep leftist bias, in spite of denials from editorialista Lou Brancaccio.

Legally registered under the title the Columbian, too many times they have exposed themselves as anything but objective, all too often working against the very community they hope to buy their product.

Blogs exposed the heavy bias in reporting when a Republican elected official was accused of wrong doing versus when a Democrat elected official was involved in an alcohol fueled sexual harassment scandal that continues to be covered when confronting cronista Stephanie Rice over denials of extreme lopsided coverage publishing 14 articles in 5 days for a Republican, followed by 2 over a month for a Democrat.

Rep Ed Orcutt to Bicyclists, “Pay Your Fair Share”

by lewwaters
Ed Orcutt

Ed Orcutt

UPDATE: Orcutt has apologized for making the comment to the cyclist, but doesn’t retract the claim made.

It’s not often that I applaud a legislator for a tax increase, but when I see one throwing blatant hypocrisy back in the faces of those who deserve it, I have to give them credit for doing so.

Washington State 20th Legislative District Representative Ed Orcutt, a Republican has done just that and has the ardent bicyclers up in arms as Washington State Democrats are proposing a slew of tax and fee increases for an ambitious transportation bill.

Their measure also includes a $25 tax to be charged on bicycles costing over $500 along with a 10 cent per gallon increase in the gas tax, an increase in excise tax on car licenses, a hike in the hazardous substance tax and new county auditor fees for car license tabs and title transfers.

While many bicyclists aren’t all that much opposed to the increases, they are becoming very outspoken in opposition to a tax on their preferred mode of transportation, bicycles.

Patty Murray: “We Have To Destroy The Middle Class In Order To Save It”

by lewwaters

Patty Murray, ScowlPatty Murray, Democrat Senator from Washington State, following the lead of all other Democrats, portrays herself as a “Champion of the Middle Class.” They swept to power in both houses of congress in the 2006 elections by that claim, bashing President George W. Bush and the spineless Republicans who failed to counter the claims with truth.

The middle class has never been worse off since.

Winning office in the early 1990’s as just a “Mom in tennis shoes,” the now 62 year-old has shown herself to be more of a “Mom in muddy shoes,” sparing no effort to retain her cushioned seat of authority, promoting a Progressive agenda on the backs of the middle class while catering to big labor and selected corporate special interests.

Celebrity Hypocrites

by lewwaters

Again we watch as liberals and progressives launch yet another assault on our constitutional second amendment rights. Some of the loudest have been the so called celebrities out of Hollywood, California. The below videos brilliantly display Hollywood’s hypocrisy as they demand an end to gun violence, after collecting millions of dollars glorifying gun violence in their movies and hiring armed security guards for themselves.

The Columbian – Consistent in their Inconsistency

by lewwaters

In spite of what fringe leftist try to claim, it is well known in Clark County that the newspaper of record, the Columbian has earned the reputation of also being known as the unofficial daily newsletter of the Democrat Party. Nowhere is this seen any better than in their Political Endorsements.

Every election, while a few token Republicans earn their endorsement, by and large the bulk go to Democrats, any Democrat in some cases even though the paper admits the Republican is the better candidate. Their reasoning given with some endorsements is not only inconsistent, but borders on outright hypocrisy.

Case in point is their 2012 endorsement in the general election for County Commissioner. Two districts are up for election and in both the primary and general election, they chose an all Democrat field. When their chosen Democrat did not win in our top-two primary, they still chose the Democrat, even though one claims to be a Republican still.

UPDATED: Why Was Jon Haugen ‘Sanctioned’ By the Democrats?

by lewwaters

Video of the Nomination of Jon Haugen

Okay, to be honest, it is not officially a “sanction” as the GOP did with Marc Boldt, but it essentially amounts to the same thing, Haugen being “cut off from campaign funding the party doles out to the Democratic candidates it favors” as he did not receive the party’s nomination in his effort to unseat Republican first termer, Jaime Herrera Beutler for the 3rd Congressional District Representative.

Another amazing example of hypocrisy from Democrats as it was they who yelled the loudest when news came out of County Commissioner Marc Boldt being “sanctioned” by the Clark County GOP last November over his many departures from the GOP platform.

The Columbian led the charge with “Why was Boldt sanctioned by GOP?”, “Boldt flap prompts two to quit GOP board”, and more, including an editorial “In Our View: GOP Wounds Self-Inflicted” containing the sub-headline, “Criticizing your own is no way to act as the campaign season approaches.

Now what we read from the Columbian is “Candidate Haugen has ‘fairly horrible experience’ at Dems’ convention.”

No mention of “self-inflicted wounds” and certainly no hundreds of outrage expressed by commenters as when Democrats chose to blast Republicans over essentially the same thing.

We read the party refused to endorse Haugen due to his opposition to the CRC project and included strong opposition from 49th legislative district representative, Jim Moeller, undoubtedly the biggest hypocrite serving in Olympia today.

Obama Campaign Continues to Slam Romney Governor’s Term, Ignoring Obama’s Term

by lewwaters

Not unexpected, but the New York Times has an article out New Obama Ad Continues Focus on Romney’s Term as Governor

As we saw in 2008, the media wants no part in looking at Obama’s record or past, just those who oppose him.

The Democrats ad claims,

“When Mitt Romney was governor, Massachusetts lost 40,000 manufacturing jobs. And fell to forty-seventh in job creation. Fourth from the bottom.”

Mitt Romney was the Massachusetts governor from January 2, 2003 to January 4, 2007 which is also a period when Democrats were claiming how bad everything in the country was under President George W. Bush and making all sort of wild claims of how it was so unbearable and only they could fix it.

They successfully seized all congressional power in the 2006 election and took over both houses of congress in January 2007. Although we might expect some media attention to how the Democrats have spearheaded the country’s economy, we have come to see it will not happen as they supply cover for the Democrats. So I will do what an unwilling media refuses to do.

Attacking Limbaugh, Liberals Ignore Years Of Their Own Misogyny

by lewwaters

FOUL LANGUAGE WARNING

Time and again, the sheer hypocrisy and double standards practiced by Liberal Democrats glares out at America, and goes largely ignored, especially by our very own liberally biased lamestream media.

No better example can exist than their cries of a “Misogynistic Right” and their actions of being “holier than thou” in condemnations of Rush Limbaugh or any other well known conservative they despise when they make a clear disparaging comment against a woman.

I won’t excuse Rush and agree that his use of the word “slut” was over the top and uncalled for. But, he did apologize on air.

That meant nothing to liberals who have for many years now wanted to silence the right, especially Rush Limbaugh.

March 6, 2012 saw an email blast from “Kristen at MomsRising.org,” a spin-off of far left leaning Moveon.org that begins, “That’s it. We need to rush Rush off the air,” and adds, “Rush’s misogynistic tirades are harmful. Our daughters see that when women speak up for women, they can be ridiculed, demeaned, and labeled ‘prostitutes.’ And what’s even more outrageous is that many of the commercial sponsors of Rush’s show are marketing directly to women.”

Just today, this same “Kristen” sent another email blast titled, “Tell Rush’s Corporate Sponsors to Use the Withdrawal Method.”

The “Whims of the Majority”

by lewwaters

In the February 1, 2012 debate over homosexual marriage rights in Washington State, State Senator Lisa Brown, a member of the Democrat majority gives her reasons for opposing allowing voters in the state to voice their views through a public vote.

I guess it escapes Ms. Brown that the homosexual marriage bill passed in the Senate and the House by a “whim of the majority” there?

Isn’t it funny how majority rule only counts when Democrats are the majority?

More GOP “Conservative” Hypocrisy

by lewwaters

As I have said recently, my eyes have been opened to the sleaze and dirty tricks in the Clark County GOP. Nowhere can this be seen any better than in the obvious hypocrisy of these newly minted “conservatives” who have sought to redefine the word to fit them over those who have been conservative for a lifetime.

If readers will recall, Republican candidate David Castillo issued a “Robo-call” back in February that set off a great many Republicans locally. Ann Donnelly, past chair of the Clark GOP, even went so far as to contact the Castillo campaign to inform them that even if they did win the primary election, offers of support from the Clark GOP were “now off the table.”

That Ann is not in a position to speak for the Clark GOP is not mentioned.

Needless to say, Castillo’s Robo-call was used as leverage against him sparking as much outrage as humanly possible. It was just totally unacceptable to so many “Republicans” that he dared use a typical campaign tactic.

Hence, I find myself once again chuckling at the all too obvious hypocrisy displayed by so many Clark County “Republicans” as we can see than in the run-up to our August 17 primary, Tea Party favorite and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin has also engaged in her own Robo-call in support of Tea Party favored candidate Clint Didier and taking a swipe against “Republican” Dino Rossi.

What do we hear from all of those oh so good “Christian Conservative” Republicans so incensed at David Castillo’s Robo-call?

NOT A DAMNED THING!!

Damned Hypocrites
