A full tour in Viet Nam was 12 months. Kerry stayed 4, Al Gore 5. I have twice the amount of boots on the ground time as both, combined, since I was there 18 months, so don’t presume you know more about it than I do.

As for making his record public, it was posted on his website, and the information is out there for anyone to see now. Why did Bush keep hi record hiden till 2004, what was he ashamed of that fact his family used connections to keep him safe, and that he really didn’t full fill his service obligation.

Explain how a Silver Star is earned for supposedly killing a wounded and fleeing enemy.

Explain how a Bronze Star is merited for picking up a person in a standard man overboard drill, that you caused to fall overboard in the first place by fleeing.

In my own 18 months boots on the ground in Viet Nam, no one I served with worth a tinkers damn would have accepted, much less put themselves in for those medals under those circumstances.

Is there a reason you do not question such medals in 3 months, three purple hearts and not a single night in the hospital?

I still have no idea how the columbian was able to publish that statement as fact without confirming that a report had indeed been filed.

I find it ironic that the columbian has a standing Freedom of Information Act (FOIA) request with the City of Vancouver, for a copy of all e-mails between Vancouver City Council Critters and their constituents, but cannot find a pair of nuts between all of them to use that very same FOIA to obtain a copy of the police report that the Congressman and his staff repeatedly claimed they had filed.
