Bedtime for POTUS; Pleasant Dreams, Sir!

17-14 (OT) Cardinal! What? I was on the East Coast watching it unfold last night and the Ducks were up 14-7 when I went to bed! This cannot be.

There is no bigger Duck fan in the world than me. I used to live in Cottage Grove you know. I even attended some night classes in Government Bureaucracy at the O. This game was for the PAC 12 and the National Championship. I’m kicking myself for missing the drama – even if my Ducks lost.

The only reason I went to bed was because I had a big day ahead with a job interview and I wanted to look chipper and well rested in the morning.

Can you imagine what POTUS must have felt like when he woke up the morning of September 12 and they told him the Ambassador and the three other patriots he started to watch fight through the night didn’t make it? Dang!!

POTUS made it perfectly clear, too, at the second debate that there is no one in the world who is more concerned about those men than he. He knew them and had met their families. He stood there and patiently waited as their flag draped coffins were unloaded from the plane. He took time out from his busy schedule, even during an intense campaign, to show how much he cared.

And besides, look at Hillary. She made the mistake of staying up all night in the Situation Room watching the video. Then, in the morning at the Rose Garden press briefing, she looked like Hell – on worldwide TV no less. Not POTUS!

Mr. President. You’ll have to break off the press conference now. AF-1 is waiting to take you to Vegas.
